Children’s Liturgy of the Word

(Also known as C.L.O.W.)

For kids 4th grade and under!

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

The purpose is for the children to be able to hear God’s Word in a simpler way that is on their level!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Mass begins as usual. Then just before the First Reading, the   children are invited to go with a group of adult leaders to Kelley Hall. During this time, the children are led through a Liturgy of the Word with readings, a reflection, Creed and petitions all on their level! Students return to Mass in the Church after the Intercessions to celebrate the Eucharist.

The Children's Liturgy of the Word has concluded for the season. Please check back soon for the 2025-2026 schedule.

Special Masses with Middle School Students

To encourage full participation in the Mass, we will have several special liturgies throughout the year. We will focus on gathering our 5th thru 8th grade students at these Masses so they may celebrate as a community. For each Mass, different grades will be asked to participate as lectors, gift bearers and more!
